HOW DO YOU HANDLE DOG DIARRHEA?
At Sloane’s Canine Cleanup, we know that not every mess is the same. When it comes to dog diarrhea, our team uses extra care and a detailed cleaning process to ensure your yard is left spotless and sanitary.
We start by carefully removing all visible waste, then rinse and treat the affected area using water and occasionally for free, safe, eco-friendly cleaning products. Afterward, we also may apply a deodorizing and sanitizing spray to neutralize odors and help eliminate bacteria — leaving the area clean, fresh, and safe for both pets and people.
No matter the mess, we make sure it’s handled properly and thoroughly — because your dog’s business is our business.
WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE WINTER TIME/WITH SNOW?
At Sloane’s Canine Cleanup, we keep your yard clean — even through the cold months. During winter, customers have two convenient options:
1. Pause Service: You can choose to temporarily pause your cleanups while the snow is heavy and resume once it melts.
2. Continue Service: Our team is experienced in locating and removing waste even in snowy conditions, ensuring your yard stays as clean as possible all season long.
When spring arrives, we’ll perform a thorough post-winter cleanup to make sure anything hidden under the snow is completely taken care of.
Whether you take a break or keep going through the season, we’ve got you covered!
CAN YOU STILL SERVICE WITH OUR DOG OUTSIDE?
Yes — we can absolutely provide service while your dog is outside!
At Sloane’s Canine Cleanup, we love dogs and are happy to work with them in the yard as long as a few simple conditions are met.
Before we do, we ask that:
We’ve had a proper introduction with your dog beforehand.
You’ve informed us that your dog is friendly and will be outside during service.
We’re aware of their presence so we can enter the yard calmly and respectfully.
Once we’ve been properly introduced, we’re more than happy to scoop with your furry friend out enjoying their space — safely and stress free for everyone!
DO YOU WORK ON RAINY DAYS?
At Sloane’s Canine Cleanup, a little rain doesn’t slow us down! Our team is fully prepared to continue service even on rainy days — equipped with rain ponchos and weather-appropriate gear to get the job done.
Light rain and damp conditions are no problem for our cleanup process, and your yard will still receive the same careful attention it always does. If severe weather ever makes service unsafe or impractical, we’ll simply reschedule for the soonest available clear day.
Rain or shine, your dog’s business is our business — and we’re committed to keeping your yard clean no matter the forecast.
WHAT IF MY SCOOPING DAY IS ON A HOLIDAY?
If Your service falls on a major holiday. we may adjust your schedule to the day before or after. If we cannot reschedule, we will skip that week and remove two weeks' worth of waste on your next service.
DO YOU TAKE THE POOP WITH YOU AFTER THE CLEANUP?
We don’t typically remove waste from your property. Instead, we double-bag it to prevent odors and dispose of it in your outdoor trash can.
If you prefer we take it with us, we can do that for a small $5 service fee per visit.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL?
If you need to reschedule, just reach out and we’ll move your service to another day that week.
If you choose to skip a week, that’s no problem — we’ll simply do double duty at your next visit to keep things clean and consistent. Regular clients are still billed for the month.
For cancellations, recurring clients can cancel anytime and service will continue through the end of the month. One-time cleanups can cancel anytime with no charge.
HOW LONG DOES IT USUALLY TAKE?
Most cleanups take 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the size of your yard and how many dogs you have. Larger yards or first-time cleanups may take a bit longer(first time cleanups can take hours), but regular visits are usually quick and efficient so your yard stays clean year-round.
